GCSE Results 2024

Given the uneven impact of the pandemic on school and college performance data, the government has said you should not make direct comparisons between the performance data for one school or college and another, or to data from previous years.

Our 2024 Year 11 students leave us with results that enable them to successfully move onto the next stage of their education, having grown into well-rounded, responsible young adults. We wish them all the best of luck for the future and look forward to hearing of their successes and achievements.

The English Baccalaureate is a certain combination of subjects, it is not a qualification. To 'achieve' the English Baccalaureate a student must study the following subjects at GCSE: English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, Combined Science or 3 separate sciences in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Computer Science, Geography or History and a Language. 36% of students were entered for this combination of subjects.

Further information about the school’s performance can be found on the DfE’s school and performance measures website.

Destination information (where students go after completing their KS4 studies) for our students is published by the DfE and can be found here. For the 2022 leavers cohort, over 95% of Woking High School students remained in education or employment, compared to 93% nationally and 94% in the local authority (Surrey). For our 2024 leavers cohort, based on student and parent survey responses, 99% of our students have remained in education or employment.
